Cornerstones School

The Cornerstones School was established in 2000 to help young people with complex needs access inclusive education designed around their key learning styles. The school draws upon the experience and aspirations of academic, clinical and social care professionals to enhance our students learning and life potential.

The school is registered and regulated by Ofsted (877/6001) and supports our students through key stages two, three, four and five. Our school was inspected by Ofsted in 2008 and more recently 2011 and awarded a "Good with Outstanding features" rating upon each occasion.

Our students are taught in small class sizes, up to a maximum of five peers. Pre-placement our students may have been excluded from previous education settings or will have missed significant periods of study due to their presenting behaviours and/or complex needs.

Cornerstones staff are well experienced in maximising our student’s academic and social potential. Following a phased integration, all pupils attend the school each day, with no student exclusions recorded throughout the schools operation since 2000.
